Eric "Scorch" Scortia

With the passing of legends like Jimmy Smith and Jack McDuff in the past decade, Eric Scortia is one of a small handful of heirs to the rich legacy of the Hammond B3 organ – the source of a shimmering and hypnotic sound that has permeated R&B, jazz, blues, soul, gospel, funk, pop, rock and country music for more than a half-century. While some artists specialize in one or two of these varied styles, Scortia has firmly positioned himself as not only a master of them all, but an innovator who borrows from each and creates mesmerizing hybrids that defy any quick and easy categories.

Say thanks for the music by visiting Scorch's website and buy a CD or other gear!  Check it out here

ROB MOSTERT

HAMMOND GROUP

Buy ‘Finger Lickin’ Good’ on iTunes

Rob Mostert is considered one of the best Hammond B3 musicians in The Netherlands. After recording his debut album with Blue Note legend Rudy Van Gelder in New Jersey,he now proudly presents a bigger band and a new sound: ‘Finger Lickin’ Good’ A groovy horn section was added to the standard Hammond trio + vocals and ‘Finger Lickin’ Good’ is a powerful preview of the new sound: a sexy mix of soul/jazz and eighties funk with a leading role for the authentic Hammond sound. The now 7-piece Rob Mostert Hammond Group is playing clubs, theatres and festivals. Rob carefully selected a fine group of talented and creative musicians to play with. Chris Strik is the drummer of choice for Amina Figarova - he played on her latest album and is touring the world with her while singer Charlotte Coppola has toured extensively both with her own band and as a guest vocalist (Gino Vanelli) and guitarist Tom Klein is an acclaimed studio musician and music producer. The horn section adds the international zest with Efraim Trujilo (US) on sax, Michael Rđrby (Sweden) on trombone and Michael Simon (Venezuela) on trumpet.Together they make a professional band with proven international potential and a spectacular sound!.

“People will experience us like never before! We’ve got a lot of fresh influences shining through in the music providing our listeners with everything from traditional jazz, soul, blues to the sexy, sultry sound of our new single ‘Finger Lickin Good’ all while maintaining the authentic hammond sound! “ Rob Mostert.

Lachy Doley

Lachy Doley is an artist with a huge track record, having trodden the boards in the employ of Australian legends Powderfinger, Jimmy Barnes, The Beautiful Girls, Billy Thorpe (and everyone else). Having honed his own voice with his previous project The Hands, Lachy has his band have been thrilling audiences around Australia since the release of his debut album 'Typically Individual' in 2011. Glenn A Baker describes Lachy as "A National Treasure" and since his triumphant performance at the 2012 MusicOz Awards he has been going from strength to strength.
In May 2012 Lachy was headhunted from the U.S. to record with Chad Smith (Red Hot Chilli Peppers), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple MK3) and Steve Vai on a new version of "Highway Star" for a Deep Purple Tribute Album due out Sep 2012.
Together with his band they are a huge sounding hammond blues explosion hinting at the "Spencer Davis Group", "Jon Cleary" and "Jon Lord" (Deep Purple). Add Lachy's powerful vocal, which has been described as somewhere between Steve Winwood and Ray Charles, and you have a truly unique and mesmerising show.
